VOLUNTEER WORK

WE SHALL DO SOMETHING MORE

We have a DREAM.
Our dream is of a peaceful, prosperous and happy life surrounded by friendship, where everyone will be free of illness, illiteracy & ignorance.

IIMC, with all its members, resources and potentialities want to fight against ignorance, social injustice, poverty and illness. We must ensure that our community is not losing dignity, quality, value and harmony. This is the mission of our project.

In today's world it seems that there is no authority to teach the beautiful life and manners. Our  growing children are left alone in a materialistic and competitive life: nobody speaks on sincerity, honesty  and the value of life. From the very outset of our action, we wanted to implement a programme for the people on the periphery. So a small out-door health center has turned into an Indoor center with 8 more sub-centers; as with more than 80 staff members and regular volunteers. All are functioning to give protection of our poor mothers & children.

We have realized only that 'health care will not bring the solution of whole problem so we must improve the situation. To brake the cycle of poverty people need education, financial upliftment and a dream of a brighter future.
We shall build up more capacity and skills amongst us. We shall all give effort to develop the following areas:-

  • Health education & Health Promotion - Increased Net work formation and Safe Motherhood techniques among the rural poor and NGOs working for them.

  • Women empowerment ( Mother's Bank, Micro Savings and Credit Programme.)

  • Mother's  Participation's & cooperation and production centres.

  • Agriculture and rural economic promotion.

  • Sanitation and safe drinking water.

  • Formation of more schools and education centers.

  • More sponsorship coverage for the poor families.

Overall the IIMC vision promotes peace and progress.

Our society will show peace, prosperity, love and caring for each other.
If the past made us learn, then the coming years will be dedicated to our implementing the  lesson towards our poor and helpless neighbours.
On behalf of all IIMC members, I remain thankful to all of the authorities, individuals & volunteers who contribute to improve this mission of development work for the society.
I hope every one will stay with us and in coming years we shall meet many more friends to improve our service to the mankind.
